For as long as Kim can remember, horses have been a part of her life. This is largely due to her growing up on Rocking Bar Ranch, which is owned by her parents, Ed & Pat Galloway.

Kim was one of those kids who "rode before she could walk". At five, she was in her first horse show on her Half-Arabian mare, named Diamond Lady. This was to be the beginning of her now chosen career as a trainer. Kim's home is adorned with proof of her many Regional and National accomplishments.

Over the last 20 years, Kim has taken lessons from various instructors and also spent time with other trainers, both in Canada and the United States. This has given her a wide range of techniques and ideas to draw upon.

Kim believes in training each horse as an individual. Every horse differs in its' ability and how much it can handle mentally. Relating to the horse and training the horse at the horse's own speed makes the process much smoother and the horse less resistant. In the end, you will have a much happier, more responsive horse that can be ridden by others, not just the trainer. Amateur owners can enjoy their horses for pleasure riding and competition, which compliments Kim's amateur rider program.

In Kim's career as a trainer she has helped many people fulfill their goals. Whether that goal is showing their horse to the top or having a pleasurable mount to go down the road with.
